David Lancashire Design developed the design for a large, permanent Aboriginal exhibition at Melbourne Museum. Major exhibition themes included European contact, Aboriginal law and knowledge, and Indigenous relationships with the land.
The exhibition design involved intepretation of many objects from the museum's vast collection as well as social history, and involved the work of contemporary Aboriginal artists and Indigenous communities.
DLD worked with curators, conservators, researchers and community members. The work also included interpretive signage design for the outdoor Indigenous garden.
